As the capital of the Territory that bears its name, Belfort is rich in history since the city is located at a strategic point commonly known as "The Belfort Gap." At the confluence of the Rhine River (50 km to the east) and the Rhône River (150 km to the south), Belfort is the only plain connecting these different valleys and is sandwiched between the Vosges and the Jura mountains.
Belfort has developed over the course of Europe's history and various wars.

For several years now, the French Cycling Federation has awarded the label "Ville et Territoire vélotouristiques". In concrete terms, Belfort is ideal for cycling tourists with more than 100km of urban cycle routes. Also, the city of Belfort is at the crossroads of 2 major routes: the Eurovélo 6 and the Francovélosuisse route.
Our hotel has recently been awarded the label to provide the best possible welcome for our guests travelling by bicycle. Within your den of one evening (or more), you will have a secure shelter for your bikes, a repair kit. Also, our laundry service as well as a catering service are at your convenience. Finally, we also provide 4 bicycles for our guests wishing to stroll through the streets of Belfort.
